 It'll Do's Buckardi & Cream - AMHR

dam: It'll Do's Peaches & Cream    Sire: EJH Light Horse Harry

Buckardi is a 2 yr. old gelding who has been to local shows, demos and 4-H functions. He has been shown in halter, showmanship and obstacle. I think he will do well all around. He has the carriage and leg for driving. He does very well at obstacle. And he may end up able to jump too. Last summer, our 4-H club set up the obstacle course with large horses in mind. They wanted the horses to calmly step over a very large plastic culvert. When Buckardi approached the culvert, it came  up to his chest. Obviously he couldn't step over it, so my son turned him around, trotted him up to the culvert and Buckardi sailed over it like it was something he did everyday. I believe they ended up with one horse going through it ok, another  with a lot of urging, and no one else could get it done. We were pretty proud of our guy!. Also, his full brother earned a National All Star Top Ten in obstacle and a 1/2 brother of his is winning driving classes up in Canada so it is obviously in his blood to excel. Only reason for selling is my youngest son is now leasing a full size gelding to ride and my husband says at least two of the smaller guys have to go because it is too hard on the pastures to keep very many. Buckardi is up to date on E,W, Tet,Flu, rhino, W.N. and has a current coggins. We are asking $1000 o.b.o.

This picture was taken quickly one day when the weather finally got warm, Just picture this guy with a good grooming job and a diet !!!

This was the third time Buckardi wore a  back pad and crupper. I am very novice at driving, but he is learning quickly. The first day I put these on he was not concerned a bit. If your looking for a good all around guy, he's the one.

HighHopes Choctaw Scarlet AMHA/AMHR was foaled in "04. She is a 32" chestnut mare who may carry pinto. Her sire was a loud 50/50 chestnut & white with very nice movement. Scarlet has 4 whites and is getting a few small places of roaning so I feel she could throw color. She has been shown by youth ages 6 and older and  has placed well in showmanship, halter and obstacle. We have taken her in a parade and she has been used during 4-H farm safety days so she is very used to young people. She would make a nice 4-H or local level show mare or broodmare.  Her bite is correct and she is in good health (maybe a bit too good at the moment LOL) She is current on vaccines and has a negative Coggins. She stands good for vet and trimmer. Can be body clipped (although not crazy about the ears like most horses)  She is expecting her first foal in Late April 2008. I am asking $1200. Good home is a must !!! Reason for selling: since my son wants to show full size horses too, I only have room for a few minis. If I can only have one broodmare/show mare - then I'd prefer either a bay or dilute.

UPDATE: Scarlet has given us a beautiful small silver bay filly ("Breezy").  She will be available after weaning or will sell as a package deal with her mother.

""Breezy" (her barn name)       Dam:High Hopes Choctaw Scarlet    Sire: EJH Light Horse Harry

Foaled 5-11-2008 (Mother's Day). She was 19" at birth so she should stay small. She can be double registered. I have not turned in the paper work yet in case a new owner would want to name her, but AMHR papers would be would be in order before she left. Asking $500.00 or as a package with her dam for $1500.

Please excuse the picture quality. There are no local equine photographers so it is just me and my 9 yr old son to take the pictures and handle the horses !

UPDATE: We lost our precious Breezy to a twisted intestine today (8-18-2008) May your courageous little spirit rest with God. We miss you girl.
